Time for Tea
|
Knitting for beginners also restarts on Monday 30th. It's been some time since I've had the pins out as I've been doing a lot of crochet, so I decided to make a little cardi for my friend's new grandson Henry. It reminded me how much I used to knit for my children when they were little and how adventurous I was. I would knit anything and feared nothing. These days, for some reason I don't always have the same urge and tend to stick to small projects, like hats, scarves and tea cosies. So, its a bit late to be a New Years resolution but I'm going to try and knit some more adventurous projects this year - time permitting of course!

Good news that your classes are going well. The cushion is great and I love the colour of the cardigan - look forward to seeing the buttons you choose. Hope you have a good week.
Love that time for tea cushion and love the colour of the cardi!
I do love handmade cushions and yours looks great. The cardigan is a fab colour and will look great once you've chosen some buttons. Good luck with the knitting classes. x
When I saw that cardigan last week, when the girls were working on their cushion covers, you only had a back and a front finished. Am mega impressed that you finished it so quickly... and sewed it up, my total pet hate. She will be chuffed to bits with it :)
Love the cushion and wishing you continued success with the classes
Oh, I do adore that little hoodie (that's what we would call it here in the US). It's just gorgeous! I really REALLY need to learn to knit. I even have ordered a kit and all I need to do is go buy some needles and start on it.
The cardigan is really lovely. I haven't knitted for ages but maybe will get the pins out. (Not doing something as complicated as your cardigan though) Mich x
Oh I wish I lived in Essex again so I could visit your shop and come to your classes.
